Today's tea party is for Jennifer McGuire's mom, Judy, who is battling ovarian cancer and Pat has challenged us to use a sketch. I love using sketching, and had planned on using this one soon. It's a great way to use up some DP scraps. Judy likes tea and her favorite color is blue, so I got out this cute tea set stamp from a SU set that I hadn't used yet--Buttons, Bows & Twinkletoes. Cute stamps, but I don't usually make little girl cards. I hope Judy finds strength and cheer in our cards.

Oh, beautiful lacy blue background. I hear you on sketches, I have always found them the only easy (for me) way of using DP. Love the old-fashioned look with the lace, script, and sweet little teapot and cup.

What a wonderful, heartfelt card this is Jen. I love the colors, this adorable tea set, all the stitching you did, and this wonderful lace dp too. Judy will be thrilled with this card you made for her. ~Karen.

I really love the many elements on this and the way you put them together! The texture in the lace background and the burlap is wonderful. The addition of the script strip and the linework provide the perfect finishing touches.

Oh my goodness I have this great teapot and have not used it in a very long time. What a great card you made with it and very lovely sketch Jen. Judy is going to treasure this wonderful card.
