Followed Sabrina's directions in the Recessed Panel Try A New Technique challenge. I had the alcohol ink background laying around--made it & didn't really like it as a whole panel, but cut into strips it worked wonderfully on several cards. Don't throw away those "mistakes"! :-)

Oh, that alcohol piece looks fab under there, and the little star design button is a great match with it. I totally agree, almost anything looks ok or even great in smaller pieces or die-cut/punched. That embossed strip along the edges is amazing looking, it's like some fancy trim for cushions. I thought at first it might have been some sort of cording.

What a fantastic and oh-so cool masculine card this is Liz! Your alcohol ink bg looks amazing in the recessed area and framed out by all this wonderful embossing. Thank you for the great advice to keep those pieces we don't like - this is a wonderful reminder. What a terrific card this is for the TLC Challenge. Fun! ~Karen.

Gorgeous alcohol panel Liz and love the embossed panels and metallic strips! I though at first the strips were textured ribbon! Wonderful masculine card!
