This is the center-fold card I made using these bat cookies for inspiration.
I cut out "Wicked" twice, once in Basic Black and once in Pumpkin Pie, then placed the black die cut so it would look like a shadow. I tied the bow and glued it to the left-hand flap and glued "Wicked" on top of the ribbon. The word was highlighted with Wink of Stella and Ice Stampin' Glitter. Then I added a Raven enamel shape to the k.
On the inside, the flaps are covered with the cobweb patterned DSP, "Have a Spooktacular Halloween" is stamped in the center, and an enamel skull rests just below the sentiment.

Before I read you description , my first thought was how do you open it with out tearing that Wicked sentiment . . .but you had the solution all along with only attaching the closure to one side . . .Beautifully done.
