Some truly amazing cakes at Tortik Annuushka! I chose this cake in the pretty pastels with the macarons. The colors were the inspiration for my Sunrise sky. I dotted my DOX inks over the inside of the Sizzix waves EF, spritzed with water then laid my water color paper over the top, pressing gently with my fingertips so it would absorb the color and pattern. I had die cut the black panel at a friends house about a year ago but just came across it in my bits & pieces box. The desert can be both beautiful and harsh so I stamped the cow skull on beige parchment, fussy cut and attached it to the black panel. Perfect since the opaque white embossing powder was SO OLD that it had turned a bone color, too. This card came together really quick & easy.

What a gorgeous sky for your western themed silhouette! We adore going out west and seeing the rock formations. Love Arches Ntl Park! Your card is beautiful!

Great southwestern card with that gorgeous sunrise sky! It reminds me of my home in Arizona and I live on Sunrise Point during the summer in Wisconsin! Love the addition of the skull, too.
