Here is a second card for todays teapot tickle which is created with watercoloring and doodling. (Im calling it Dipsy Doodle).
I'm actually away on a long gal pal weekend in Door County, Wi enjoying quaint towns with darling shops and restaurants. We ferried over to Washington Island to visit Fragrant Isle Lavender farm! What a spectacular site to see these beautiful lavender plants and the aroma is intoxicating!
I carry a very small set of supplies when I travel and happened to have a set of inexpensive cake watercolors and packaged cards/envelopes in my travel bag.
I started by watering up 3 shades of purple then simply dipped into each color one at a time(air drying each color). I added a bit more water than necessary so I tipped the card up and down to allow the base color drip across the card .
At first it reminded me of an alien hand, then dipped in some darker tones, which then looked like a speckled alien hand! I Guess the smell of lavender has made me a little tipsy!! Hehehe
My sister had an black extra fine Sharpie marker in her purse, and doodles the lavender sprigs, then added a border.
I may add a sentiment or some Small bow embellishment to finish the bundled look of the lavender and CAS card.
I look forward to your creations for the teapot tickle!

That must have been a wonderful visit to the lavender farm. I'm glad it smelled so good. I always love seeing the bees buzzing around in lavender bushes. I think this would be a great embroidery design - especially on a little lavender sachet.

Yay! I'm not the only one who travels with art supplies! I love this fabulous CAS card and that it was inspired by your travels. Thanks for a fun challenge, Jeannie! I'm really enjoying this gallery.
