Congrats to Judy, JKHolbrook, on being named today's Featured Stamper. This card:
Seahorse Smile by JRHolbrook at Splitcoaststampers
inspired me to create a Distress Oxide ink background to highlight this lovely wild flower image from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. I have wanted to make this card for a while, so Judy's card was great incentive. I gold embossed my image after my background dried and then used more DOX and dye based inks to watercolor my image.
We are having a cloudy windy day here at the lake, so my photo of the card does not show the true Seaside Spray CS color of the card base.

Kathy, this is simply stunning...the blend of those DO inks along with the gold embossing is perfect. You've been bringing some rocking cards to your gallery recently...

Jaw drop! This is such a stunning card and a wonderful take on Gracie's wonderful card. I love the gold embossing and the wonderful colors in both your bg and your flowers. This is going straight into my favorite's folder! ~Karen.
