It reminded me of the pretty tree stencils that I got from the Greetery and have not tried out yet! (that's why I love the IC - it makes me get out those things I purchase but then don't use!)
This stencil set (fir and foliage) comes with 3 stencils - the tree itself and two foliage options. I used a darker gray on the tree and lighter gray on the leaf piece.
The wonderful sentiment is from Impression Obsession by our own Dina Kowal.
I'm off to my grand niece and nephew's combined b'day party this afternoon - turning 7 and 9 - should be fun!

This is a perfect sympathy card. I love the shadowed tree you used for inspiration and you did a wonderful card with it.

Yep, I love this!!! It's stunning! I mentioned in my card description that I didn't know anyone who would appreciate a black and gray tree card but I meant with the tree branch I used. It was too chunky or something. Anyway. I LOVE this and love black, white and gray together. Very soothing! Perfect for an encouragement card!
