I knew that box of scraps would come in handy one day and seeing that is about at exploding point - time to use some of it up.
I die cut all the nautical dies from scraps using a set of free dies I received with one of the English magazines.
Stamped the sentiment and layered all the little bits up on a panel before framing it with some navy card and putting it on a bright red card.
Hope you enjoy the sunshine and the sea. I can't wait for Spring to arrive with some lovely warm sunshine and gentle breezes - not like the nasty cold windy weather we are having at the moment.
Hope you enjoy the race.

Beautiful little scene Helen! Reminds me of Kincardine on lake Huron. I was going to ask if you had had a breath of spring yet but apparently not. :-) We are still hot and humid here but the garden tells me the summer is starting to wind down. Lovely card!

What a fun set of dies and beautifully pieced scene. I'm especially taken with the rope die. This has something of the look of a vintage travel poster.
My bag of green scraps gets slimmer and slimmer, but the other three never seen to thin down at all.

What a great way to use scraps and the magazine dies.....you have inspired me to get cutting and stamping with the magazine goodies. I always love seeing your work my Aussie mate. Keep warm.
