I worked on this card for about a week until I finally got it to go together. There's a lot going on with all the layers and coloring. I colored the cardinal with calypso coral and Cajun craze blends markers, rather than using reds. I then colored the holly leaves with light and dark peacock colors, rather than traditional green tones. After trying different color combinations, I liked this cardinal and layout best because of the translucent effect on the bird. Lastly, I added a bit of the shimmery crystal effects to the berries. It's hard to see in the photo, but it's a subtle effect in real life. Anyway, thanks for looking.
