Our recipient this week loves to read so I went searching for some reading related stamps and found this cute set from Vera Lane. My pink layer is partially embossing with a script ef. I pounded the folder here and there with a hammer to just pick up some of the embossing. Come join us this week for our Teaparty!

so you, but so perfect for Vicki! I love those cats' eye frames and the retro pink and turquoise colorway. You coloring of all the elements is vibrant and cool. Thanks for the challenge...

Polly, what an adorable little reader this is and I love your wonderful choice of colors! I spent most of today trying to get a few more of the DTGD cards done. Now I am pooped, but I will face this challenge in the morning so I can get a card to Vicki. I have been missing her on SCS.

I'm always on the lookout for reading and book themed images and quotes - these you've used are great! I love that little reader's funky turquoise specs and the sentiment is terrific. I have never thought or heard of tapping an embossing folder with a hammer but I love it!

Oh, Polly, you are so creative - using a hammer to make a card! LOL. The card is so beautiful with the lovely reader and her magnificent turquoise cat -eye glasses. I love the beautiful colors you combined to make this great card for precious Vicki!
