oh what fun it's been celebrating the Dare to Get Dirty 15th year! Come see what is all about and do join the Fan Club. Where else on the WWW can you get so much inspiration, learning, and fellowship for such a small contribution once a year?
dini(Dina) has issued a challenge for us. I'll leave it a surprise. This card also fits this weeks' Free for All to submit a More of Less card based on one you've done earlier. Thanks Angie (ohmypaper!)
I selected oops, I'm late as my less card. They both used strong women...but my 'don't forget your lipstick' has more layers (4), more embellishments(4) and is visually more interesting.
Polly(peeps321) asked for Fiber in this weeks MIX241. My fiber is the twist Bakers' Twine with a strand of gold mixed in. I also use a metallic teal foil something or other...I'd bought it at a thrift store thinking I could use it for mermaid and merman things. Both of these elements are quite tactile. Thanks Polly for an easy to accomplish Mix today. Just these elements make it MIXED!
I love the sentiment that was part of the Technique Junkies image. Indeed, Life is Short. Make ever day a RED lipstick day. I totally agree, but you'll only find me with 'lippy' on as some of my friends call it rarely. Not because I don't like bright red lips, but because over 32 years ago my beloved husband said he didn't like kissing 'dolled' up lips. Well, I like kissing him much more than the look!
Thanks for stopping today.

Baker's twine with a bit of gold..what could be better! This is great..you always have such interesting and unique embellishments on your cards. That teal sequin waste is pretty darn cool. I love the image and I wear lipstick occasionally...just because ;) Happy to see your art today Susan.
I love your MORE version! This is such fun. I love the sentiment. We have to remember that every day! I have a friend who said, "every day is good china day". And I try to live that even if I break a dish!

I absolutely love the bits and bobs you add to your cards! Marvelous image and sentiment, perfectly showcased with the paper and framing. Straight into my favorites, Susan.

Both versions are great Susan. I love how your sense of adventure and humour gets translated to the card. Your gallery always has me smiling, this gem is no exception.
