This is for Ceal's DTGD challenge and fits Polly's Mixability Challenge to use fibers. I have torn gel prints on deli paper and copy paper and adhered to a bg paper torn from a mixed media journal that had a watercolor wash. I used baby wipes which had been used to clean off my gel plate and hands for the waves and clouds. I added some cardboard for texture and a torn word. God is taking us through a hard place currently and the lyrics from Hillsong's Oceans came to my mind this morning so I crafted and wept, but it was a good reminder that God takes us out into the deep where we have no footing and all we can do is trust his strength to carry us through. So, I am trusting that He is making me stronger in my faith as I trust Him in the deeps. My DH used to talk about being out in the ocean on the air craft carrier that he served on and looking out the hangar bay and seeing nothing but water all around, no shore in site....that's the deeps for sure!

Having been through some dark times in recent weeks I can relate to what you are saying. I think your crafting session today was probably cathartic. You've really got a lot of cool texture and ocean type imaging on this...it's great...glad you could play along today.

this project is beautiful, I love the addition of textures.
As cold is the water in which you bathe, and the torments, make sure to keep your head out of the sea, to breathe and fix the thinning on the horizon!
