This is for Polly's terrific challenge and also for this week's Tea Party which is for our own Julie (Julie Gearinger). Great theme, Susie, with the umbrellas.
I downloaded the little girls and coloured them with pencils. Fussy cut & raised, using dimensionals, onto the 2 different dps. I punched the edge of the text dp. Added the twine, sentiment & pearls.
TFL!

Oh wow Sue, this looks wonderful. You sure have nailed Julie's love of shabby chic and your girls look gorgeous. I love the design, I never would think to do a decorative punch trim on that fabulous dp. Everything about this makes me smile. Thanks for coming to Julie and Dave's Teaparty......now get some rest, only 5 sleeps to go hehehehe.

Sweet Sue you've created the sweetest card for Julie and Dave. Those little girls are adorable! I love your backing paper and the text border enhances the vintage feel to this!

Oh Sue, this super charming and precious card put a big ole smile on my face today. These sweet little gals are colored to perfection and have that lovely vintage look Julie loves so very much. The bg, pearls and touch of sparkly twine all add to the vintage feel of this fabulous card that reminds me of a vintage card (which I love of course!). You really captured the spirit of this challenge in an amazing way! ~Karen.

I just love this image. I have the original wood mounted stamp - one of the first ones I bought. Why didn’t I remember it for this challenge! You have made it a delightful vintage style card.
