Friends are getting married tonight. They have a Star theme going on with their hashtag. It inspired a giant Shadowbox Frame Shaker box filled with Shiny Stars and Sequins.
I cut out five Top Note shapes in cardboard to give the focal image some Thickness. It's all glued together with Tombow glue.
I started with a sheet of basic black and Splattered Silver and gold Splatters of Acrylic Shimmer Paint to simulate a Starry Sky. Allowed that to dry so it wouldn't fall apart when I glued everything together.
Everything in the box is either black or Metallic--both Silver and gold. For once, it didn't matter if the Sequins, Stars and other Shaker elements got stuck on the black Sky background--because that's where Stars belong!
The embossing Powder was a no-brainer for this Project. Also, a Star Punch was absolutely necessary. The Paint was not necessary, but I thought it was a great addition.

Fabulous make, love the splattery background for the stars and sequins, this will make a great special keepsake gift for your friends' wedding! Love the sneak way you found to show how it matches the challenge too ;-) Thanks for playing my challenge!
