I'm the hostess this week for an edgy challenge. This week we are focusing on ways to decorate our edges. On my card base, I used an edge punch and on my focal layer, I sponged ink and then also used the same ink pad, direct to paper.
I harvested a reject from the "Impress Me" challenge. My first attempt at faux letterpress ended up with ink where I should have had white space. Sponging to the rescue! Now I have another clean and simple card with that lovely branch image.
Thanks for looking!

This reminds me of the line in, is it Andrew Marvell, reducing everything to a green thought in a green shade. Lovely punch, and the black matting gives SU j a crisp look with the fresh green.

Both of your cards are beautiful, Toni, but this is my favorite. I really like the vibrant yellow-green of the leaves and the pierced lattice edging is an exquisite detail.

This card is done in my all-time favorite shade of green. I love the embossed leaves highlighted with ink and the gorgeous edges you framed this all out in. The black layer gives this a nice touch of elegance. You have selected a terrific sentiment for this card too. ~Karen.

This is gorgeous! The black edge separating the greens adds a dramatic flair to the embossed panel. And your punched edging is perfection! Nicely done, great looking edgy card.
