I kind of screwed up the "camouflage" part of today's technique challenge when I sponged the balloon in Cracked Pistachio to make it stand out. Oops! Sabrina's and Marg's challenges were fun to combine to make the nautical 30th birthday card that I needed. I cut the baloon with the 30 and the anchor with my ScanNCut. I also used a wave stencil that I cut with my ScanNCut. Splattered some water to add more interest and keep with the water theme.

What a fun combination with the balloon and anchor- and what a wonderful gradient of colouring in that super sponging. Not much camouflage, though, LOL. No worries - when I made my MIL's birthday card last week, I edged all the letters in gold so that they would stand out a little bit more for her older eyes.
