The buttons are made by die cutting them from the back of a pad of paper, then sponging on tea dye distress ink and then stamping with the hardwood background in walnut stain distress ink. I gave them one coat of a satin finish decoupage sealer.

Wow, the buttons are amazing! I thought they were real buttons until I read your description. Love your idea for the sports challenge. We used the same sport and the same stamps. Great minds think alike! Love your card.
