Yesterday, walking the dogs, I spotted a beautiful black and silver glittery dragonfly! Another inspiration for today's challenge.
I die cut the dragonfly out of vellum. I also die cut a dragonfly mask. I put mask on cs and spritzed with DOX faded jeans, then spritzed with water. I'm still learning how to use DOX sprays and I wanted some lighter areas in the blue, so I dotted cs with bleach and added some white dots with pen.
I used glue to add black, silver and iridescent glitter to my vellum dragonfly. I had to put a book on it to get it to dry flat. Then I added Crystal lacquer to the eyes. I used 3D pop dots to attach dragonfly over the masked white area on DOX panel. Then stamped Happy Birthday and glued onto black and silver layers.

Oh, you had inspiration yesterday and today for that beautiful dragonfly. And, you also have a great background. I love you used vellum and the glitter just helps make it a top notch card.

Wow - the glitter on the vellum is so thick and sparkly! what a wonderful technique for creating your dragonfly! She looks wonderful flying through your blue background!
