One of my best friends asked me to make a card for her cousin who just had a miscarriage at five months. The baby was to be named Luke and she wanted his name incorporated on the card. I hope this brings her cousin peace and that she can look back on this card and fondly remember the baby she carried with her for five months. I found this needle minder and the C reminded me of a moon, so I was inspired to use this little angel from Mo Manning (a baby new year, actually) and rest him on the moon. I used my ScanNCut to cut a star background and the moon, then I popped up both the moon and little Angel Luke. The cut stars worked perfectly to use my favorite sympathy sentiment inside: "Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy."

This is such a sweet card for the sad occasion. Good job with your inspiration and I hope this will give comfort to the recipient.

Aww, Jennifer. What a difficult occasion. I am so sorry for her heartache. I created a little art piece with a jeweled charm when I had my first miscarriage. It helps to have something tangible. This is so gorgeous. I love that Luke's name is on the cloth. So very sweet!!

I don't know how you could make this card, but it's fabulous. Such a sad story. You are amazing.
