I altered a technique I found by Jennifer McGuire called Block Watercolor Stamping. https://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2...atercolor.html
I tried this with Brusho, wetting the acrylic block, sprinkling in the powders, laying the watercolor paper on top of the block and then weighting it down for 5 minutes. Daubed off the excess and let it dry completely before embossing the image and sentiment. It's a bit warped but I supported the panel with some craft foam and that helped.

What a coincidence - that's the second time today I've come across acrylic block stamping with mediums I wouldn't think of - the other one was markers. I really like the depth and patterning of colour you got with the Brushos. I've only ever used ink pads, so it's more limited in how you can apply them. It looks beautiful. The flowers remind of the sea pinks that used to grow along the cliffs at home.

Loving that beautiful background with the technique you used. You make me want to get out my Brushos.

Wow, this is GORGEOUS! I love the beautiful mix of color behind the white embossed flowers and that sentiment couldn't be more perfect. I'm off to follow the link to this technique - thanks for sharing it!
