I've been trying to get to complete Lee's Tiny challenge since I first saw it online and finally completed this card yesterday...which now means it can also go in the alpha T challenge. T = Tiny Big Wishes.
I had originally made a BG and card for this challenge last week but my stamping went slightly off so I started from scratch.
The BG was made using my gelatos....
Simply eoecrayonede onto my mat and sprayed with water and plonked...oops...brushed on my panel. I had decided I would be a good girl with this card and only use a maximum of 3 colours. After drying they looked too dull so I simply plonked more on today. Love gelatos.
The challenge was to use things that were tiny and could fit in the palm of my hand. I had just the stamps and also a small stitched circle. Love stitching on cards. I was going to stop after stamping the circle and butterfly and ladybird but those who know me, know I'm a filler person...fill every spot I can lol.
It was at this point that I remembered I'd been given a punch and had found that it made tiny little envelopes...perfect for adding to my flower. Yes it's a flower for those who can't quite see it...it is tiny after all lol.
Out come the zigs and the wink of Stella sparkly pens...I have them in just about every colour but they don't show in the photo. They are there. The pens are big I know but I figured that as the things I coloured are tiny, it's only using a small bit of sparkle and ink. I'm sticking with this one Lee. *wink*
I did stop at this stage and took my photo but it sort of looked lost......when I spied the leftover orchid dried flowers on my desk. Perfect to add to my little bouquet...yes they are real flowers but are now meant to be white tissue paper around my circle flower lol.
Another photo taken....oh oh....I want to stamp stitching around my border but that's a big stamp and definitely doesn't fit in the palm of my hand, but the nib in my journalling pen is tiny, so that fits the challenge. Doodling border added.
It's at this stage I rip my panel but hey I have just the thing to fix this....my tiny distresser tool...that fits in my hand lol. That's better.
I was just about to take my final photo when I think why didn't I stamp the heart in red. Out comes the zig and oops I'm drawing a bigger heart...well the wishes are big, even if the stamp is tiny.
Time to stop...last photo taken and check out my remaining orchids..saved for another project.
I love mixed media.
TFL. Happy day.

Such a pretty background you've created Jayne! It was fun reading your process of creating this lovely card, I like your doodled border and your orchid petals. Lovely card!

Hey Jayne, your card is great as is your wonderful description of how you created it. You sound like me...add one more thing, oh wait! add another and another embellishment! Such fun! Love it!

I love this Jayne! I cannot use tiny images or items for anything on a card so I totally applaud you for doing this challenge, and making a fabulous card! I so enjoyed reading about your journey too. It is obvious you love mixed media and that is starting to wear off on this clean and simple girl's style a bit so I do appreciate that. ~Karen.
