I made this card for this week's Alphabet Challenge for the Letter T. The T's in this card are for tulips and thank you. The double challenge was to do a thank you card. I placed a tan embossing mat on the cutting plate, opened the card up, and placed the cover die (blade side down) into the cardstock and embossed it. The embossing mat keeps the die from cutting through the cardstock and embosses it. The tulip stems and flowers were stamped full strength with ink, then the stamp is shifted slightly and stamped again without reinking. This was done several times until the card piece was completely stamped. The butterfly was colored with copic markers and adhered to the card front beside the sentiment banner. This card needed a little pop of color so I added this thin strip of green glitter cardstock that was in my stash on top of the image panel and added a polka dot piece from my stash on the bottom. This was kind of a back to basics stamping card for me which I really enjoyed a lot. Thanks for looking today. ~Karen.

Another way to use dies and it looks so nice as an embossed bg panel, Karen. Beautiful card....I love the way you color your butterflies. Very fun card using an older stamp set with newer dies and colors~
