Jen is our hostess for this week's MMTPT573 The Need to Read challenge. Our cards are going to Stephanie, who loves reading. Jen also suggested cards that would make her smile, so after I found the crime scene washi tape, this morphed into a totally different card. I had already stamped and coloured my reading cats (watercolour paper, Polychromos pencils and a Derwent blending pen). After I found the tape, I had to figure out how to incorporate it, so I went with this Hinged Panel card, which lets the tape be seen even when it is closed.
The tutorial for that can be found here: TLC579 Hinged Panel Card. Mine is 5 1/2" square, so I started with a piece of card 11" x 5 1/2".

This is just brilliant Sabrina and is sure to bring a big ole smile to Stephanie's face. I love this adorable cat "crime scene" you have created with crime scene tape no less. The front of the card is so very creative Sabrina and just as fun as fun can be. Humor is so important when we are sick and/or recovering and this is tops for that! ~Karen.
