This card is for my DDâs 35th birthday. She likes me to make her cards that feature her beloved dog. So I try to do that every year. Last year she complained that other family members were getting âfancyâ cards like pop ups or tunnel cards and why hadnât I made her one. The March paper pumpkin kit was a lifesaver! I used todayâs sketch and some elements from the paper pumpkin kit to create the front. I omitted the greeting that is part of the dog stamp but ended up with a small black spot on my yellow piece so I moved the circle element from the sketch up to cover it. This led to the balloon string, through the dogâs mouth. The dog is stamped twice, once on the yellow tag and once on white CS that I cut into an oval. I then lined the oval over the tag so the dog image lined up.

Kathy, this is such fun! Great, really great use of the sketch. And I love the inside...That's so funny your daughter let you know what SHE needed! So here's a big happy with the black lab too. Cool

Excellent card using the sketch! I like how you featured her dog for your DD's birthday. The party hat is so cute! Love that polka-dot paper.
The balloon looks great. It's so handy to use elements or embellishments to cover those little spots. Do it all the time! Terrific card!
