I was inspired by two challenges for this card. I looked at Kim's JUL19VSNN challenge and die cut flowers in my birthstone colors. These are very close in color the necklace I have that my husband bought me in my birthstone color even though a lot of the internet photos look darker than my flowers.
OH DRAT! I just realized I forgot the bling for the 2nd part of the challenge. I meant to bling the flower centers. I will try to do that later and change out the photo. BUT people do throw flowers at the stage at concerts so maybe I am covered?
The overall design was inspired by this week's Featured Stamper Spring Bunny card. I was drawn to the way Lee Ann added color behind the bunny so that is what I did behind my pitcher. I added long green stems to my flower arrangement similar to Lee Ann's stamped greenery. I used patterned paper for a base with the intention of placing my focal layer in the same corner as Lee Ann did but after checking in with my artist in residence we decided for my design it looked better centered.
This is also for the new IO summer die celebration and I have more details on my blog post!

This is beautiful, Angie! What a gorgeous bouquet! Love the pitcher that they are in- kind of like the farmhouse look, which I am totally into. Thank you so much for playing along in this week's FS challenge!
