For today's stripes challenge I went with bright strips of recycled paper for my herringbone background, clamped down with a wood grain dry embossing folder. Added a pretty butterfly from my friends, and a simple ribbon border. The central panel is also a repurposing from a former card of mine

Lovely herringbone background, Julia. I'm glad somebody took that option. The matching butterfly is lovely, and the bird reminds me of our recent holiday.

How cool to use this technique and then you embossed it with that woodgrained pattern!! That created a great look.
