For today's teapot challenge we were to focus on a face. We could draw one for extra cookies so I thought I'd give it a go. I only had an hour before I have to go to hairdresser, so I hope to do another better one later. I will do another one for our exchange...I don't think too many people will want an old lady card!
I sketched with Micron 01 pen, then colored with my Copic markers. Inside: "Age is mind over matter...if you don't mind, it don't matter!"
I'm adding this to ABC challenge letter Q, too. "Quietly Contemplating!"

Gracie, I am bowled over by your talent! One hour?!?!?! I couldn’t do this in one year. Send it, it’s fabulous. And we’d love to see more of your sketches.

wow! That is fabulous! You have real talent!
I esp like the hair part with just some hint lines you backfilled with the color! Cool! And those big blue eyes! She looks like a very kind person to me even if she isnt real.

i would be honored to receive her, don't make another to send. i love her face, full of character. her smile looks like my mother's. my Mom always looked like she was up to something. She probably was but my Dad was pretty serious and wouldn't let her be up to something.

I love this! I am on a personal mission to love wrinkles (especially since they are coming rapidly). I try to think about Mother Teresa and how beautiful her humble wrinkled face was and of the belief that each wrinkle is a badge of something we endured (a tough year, a sad event, a challenging child, a hard job, a battle with an addiction, etc). This lady has some great badges! Wonderfully done and thanks for sharing!!!!! Hugz
