I wasnât terribly happy with my first attempt for the Altenew challenge, so here is my second go.
On a piece of cs the same size as my card front I stamped the flowers and leaves (2 step stamping) in a diagonal across my cs, masking as I went. I fussy cut the top edge of my flowers only - leaving the bottom of the card panel intact.
I sponged the top corner of my card front, then splattered with water and blotted, and splattered more with black ink.
Die cut the word happy. Adhered the letters for happy and then white embossed birthday on a narrow black strip.
Popped up both the black sentiment strip and the bottom floral diagonal panel onto the card front as shown. I love this dimensional look. Added sequins for fun!
