This card took way too long, as I was dithering. I don't like to dither. As I was looking for this sentiment, other ideas popped into my head. So I may be back but not right now. Gotta settle my brain.
I really enjoyed this website. Such a nice variety of fabrics and styles. I could buy something and I don't even sew that much. I miss having a house to decorate but don't miss having to keep up a house.
This is what I chose for inspiration: https://www.brickhousefabrics.com/pr...abric-36-.html
I love mid-century modern. I decided there was no way I was going to do anything too literal but still, this was a challenge, which I didn't expect. Colors were difficult for one thing; I wanted it brighter. And why did I choose the dark red CS?? But in the process, I did make some interesting gel prints, which is what I used. This stencil has 7 pieces and I need to work at it a bit more to get it right.
Then I couldn't find the sentiment, which means I'm not on the ball. This story sounds like The Perils of Jean.

I enjoyed reading The Perils of Jean. You're funny. You made a wonderful card and I like the dark red cardstock with the pretty gel prints. I know you are on the ball and have a ball somewhere on this card....your very own.

The sentiment got the first laugh and then I read your write-up! Marvelous, artsy creation, Jean. You were channeling the site title when you used the red CS and it makes the die cut panels pop!

Yellow for the bg would have really brightened things up, but in keeping this red, it would work well for a guy. Got to look on the bright side, Jean. Very artsy card using the gel designs and puzzle like pieces~
