I wanted to play around with this stencil so instead of just doing some traditional stenciling. I cut some wavy masks from white paper and used them to stencil each area of my card front, using different colours and leaving a bit of space between each section. When I was done stenciling, I took my ScorBug and added the perforated dots along the white areas between the sections. I die-cut the Happy Birthday 3 times, glued them together and then onto my card front. Added a few drops of Nuvo too.

Cool stenciling, Karen. I like how the happy birthday is camouflage in there - super cool! Hugz

Beautiful, Karen....awesome colors. I always love to read how you make your cards. Great idea with this one and I had forgotten I had a Scor-Bug. Now, I really have to find it and use it.

I can certainly see your inspiration in this background. I feel such an African vibe coming off this and could easily see a woman in Zaire or Kenya wrapping herself in a design like this. Really cool look!
