I started by inking a round sponge blending tool with DOX amber ink and used that to "stamp" my sun. Then I started adding a rainbow of chalks applied with cotton balls to make the circular rainbow sky. Stamped the image with black ink and die cut the trees from a scrap of black cardstock. Since I grew up in the Midwest our Independence day celebrations were always plagued by swarms of flies, mosquitos and gnats!! So if you look closely you will see them here too applied with watered down ink flicked from a toothbrush held about 3 feet overhead.

Ahhhhh Bubbles, you always make me smile (and chuckle). I'd be guessing that you are the first person to add mozzies, flies and gnats to a card. I love everything about this. Thanks for all the details, and tip about applying the chalks with cotton balls.
Please don't take your organs to heaven - heaven knows we need them here.
