My favorite thing to do during the summer is to go to the beach! My husband's famiy is very fortunate to have a little beach cottage that they rent all summer long every summer. I haven't made it down there yet this year, so I'm taking Monday off for a beach day!
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday âe" Travel/Vacation
I figured beach makes a nice wedding card. My husband's aunt asked me for a card for a wedding she is going to this weekend. You all know my rule about unlimited cards if you babysit my kids, so I couldn't say no. I sponged the beach scene while it was still in the die. I added some new snow marker for foam. I bough a snow marker on clearance from Craftin' Desert Divas and I was totally wowed this morning as I watched it puff up from my heat gun! Then I found this PSX stamp that I've never used and stamped the doves and cut them with my ScanNCut. I called them pigeons because my husband's uncle raises racing pigeons.
In order to use some buttons, I used SC149 and stacked the buttons withe some paper flowers and gold paper. I kind of wish I had added some ribbon across the card though instead of the embossed white paper.

Really pretty card and I love the beach, too...my fave place. Those peace doves are so pretty for a wedding card....even if you do want to call them pigeons. Nice waves with your foam.

This is a lovely wedding card...it has such a spiritual feel. The birds are very pretty and the sea foam looks terrific. I have never seen a snow pen, but the effect is gorgeous.
