hi there,
Here is my card for the WT today; Memories. Going back into our galleries to some of the first cards we posted was fun and interesting to see how we have evolved.
Here is the one that inspired today's card: live by k dunbrook at Splitcoaststampers
Whenever I am inking and there is leftover ink on my non-stick mat, I always slap it onto another piece of cs as I hate to waste the ink. That's where this piece began as it was sitting in my stash. I added some stenciling to the bkg and stamped using my Misti. I used the look of the silhouette flowers as my inspiration.
thanks for looking. https://snippets-karen.blogspot.com/...reminisce

Karen, your first card is as lovely as your last, IMO. The one for today has a simpler, more direct approach which lets your image shine. When I think of your cards, I think of simple, dramatic layouts. Love the bg of today's. Truly gorgeous!

I like it when people use every left over to make another card, I try to do that often, I love this card and always love your interesting background techniques!! The other card is very pretty too

Both of these cards are gorgeous, but there is just something about that wonderful DOX ink. So vivid and holds its own color so well when dried and other inks are applied. Always love the shades of blue you are so known for.
