Michelle (mfb) is this week's Featured Stamper. The roses in this card inspired me. This is also for Cathy's March, WTUI How Does Your Gard Grow. I've got roses in my garden.
I dry embossed the panel and sponged with ink. Die cut roses and the flourishes out of shimmer paper. Punched a vellum strip with a lace edge and ribbon slots. Stamped the sentiment and thread the slots with ribbon. Layered the sentiment strip and roses over the embossed panel and adhered to a white linen card base. TFL

This is so beautiful! I love the roses, focal roses and the embossed ones in the background. I also really like the vellum piece with the ribbon running through it. Beautiful!

What a stunning card this is! So beautiful! I love the shimmery roses overlying that sweet embossed background. The way you did your sentiment/ribbon panel is genius. It looks terrific!

Stunning! What lovely embossed die-cut roses and leaves. Love the swirls. The background is pretty, too. Love how you used velum for the sentiment with the fancy edge and the laced ribbon. Beautiful card!
Just awesome Carla! I love all of the detail you put into this and all of your layers. Such a lovely card for someone! Thank you for making my week extra special by honoring me and making a card!
