SC754: I envisioned a quilt card when I saw Carey's creative sketch. It was perfect chance to use up more retired paper. No stamping necessary.
I did translate the square layout into an A2 rectangle card. I cut one panel (green) that would provide the #3 sections. Then I cut & layered a square for #1 (orange on brown) and cut strips to be the #2 sections (stripes & flowers). Once I adhered everything down on the green, I layered the panel on a brown mat and then on the card base. I scored two lines down the left side on the card base to mirror the lines in the paper. The orange and green papers have a fabulous linen textured look for a homespun quality. I embellished simply with a bow and flower button. I left off a sentiment to have an all occasion card on hand.
I had fun working with this sketch. I look forward to what you create. Have fun! Thanks for looking.

Diane this is so pretty! I love this color combo and the vintage feel to it. This is a beautiful card!
