I'm sending my card to the Jones family after the tragic loss of their precious 12 year old grandson, Jacob. I decided to use the challenge colours, as the flowers may bring a little sunshine to the family as they open the envelope.
I added the dsp and ribbon to the top panel. Die cut the frame adding a white centre. Die cut and shaped three flowers, and added various leaves. Gems to finish.

WOW Sandie this is gorgeous! Those flowers are so pretty and you really found a way to use the color challenge colors without making them overwhelm the serious/sympathy theme of the card.

What a gorgeous card Sandie!! What a kind heart to create this card for someone's loss. And you have done a stellar job with these difficult colors. I like the frame around the pretty cross. I also like the ferns done in the coastal cabana with the bright yellow flowers. :>)

I would not have thought to use these colors on a sympathy card, but this is perfect and completely lovely.
