I hope a thought balloon is appropriate; I'm with Kia, I don't care for balloons and I don't really have a balloon image that I can think of.
I love this technique. So fun to ink up with pads.
Clarice the chicken says 'Happy birthday to Kia!' A June birthday is nice. My son's is next Monday, such a nice time to have a baby. One can be outside and take walks and enjoy the summer.

Oh my goodness, how fun and fabulous is this! I love it. I was raised on a farm where we had 6,500 chickens (that is not a typo!) and we named all of our hens too. Clarice was always a popular name for a chicken - it just fits! I love the selective ink pad stamping you did here to highlight your fun image and punny sentiment! ~Karen.

Cool that you used this technique for the edge, and that handsome chicken makes a great focal point.

I love this. Never would have thought of this for the "balloon", but it is PERFECT. Love the coloring of your hen and how it matches your bg border. Wonderful card.
