I only use my Stampin' Up mini ink pads now days, as I do not care for their new pads. So they were perfect for this technique. I used various greens and blues for the background. I also inked directly from the pad on the edge of my oval.

oh I hear you about the new pads. Hard to open, sometimes too juicy. If you have arthritis, forget it. Liz, I think this is a super card and I like that you stamped over with the more organic leaves over the modern background.

This size of ink pad seems perfect for the technique and I'm with you regarding the new SU ink pads; I've kept all my spots over the years and now I'm glad! Lovely card and sentiment.

OMGosh! what a pretty geometric-designed background using your mini sqaure inkpads. Your direct to paper inking technique is a smashing success and perfectly paired with your stamped green leaves and petite mint green flowers! Lovely card results!
