This is a sample for the Sketch Challenge that I am hosting this week. It is a simple one and I hope you will be inspired by it.
We were invited to a 90th birthday luncheon for my friend's husband and I needed a card of course. I combined the sketch with the Color Challenge: Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Mint Macaron with DSP for dessert.
I thought the colors would be good for a masculine card. I die-cut large numbers 90 out of Mint Macaron glimmer paper; Old Olive for the Happy Birthday and enamel dots; Coral for the second sentiment, the square and an enamel dot on birthday. The 90 year old birthday boy did a lot of woodworking in his life, so I used a strip of wood texture DSP for his card which adds to the masculine look and gives me dessert for the Color Challenge.
I look forward to seeing what you create with the Sketch Challenge. TFL

What a fabulous birthday card this is Diane. I needed to make a 60th birthday card recently for a man, and oh how I wish I would have had your card design to follow. This is going straight into my favs! ~Karen.
