I wanted to use a stamp I've had for a while and never inked. I had a bad time with it....my fault....and threw away enough paper to fill a 40 gallon can or, at least, I felt that way. I worked on it one day and got nothing. Got up the next day and it came together really quick. Of course, I toned it down a bit. I guess that means stop and don't drive yourself crazy if it isn't working.

This wouldn't be an easy stamp to colour, Brenda, you have coloured her so beautifully, I love her gorgeous hair!! I knew as soon as I saw this what you had chosen for inspiration, a really lovely card!

What a wonderful image! I love what inspired your card, and that you only colored her hair, eyes, and mouth! Fab!

Brenda, this is so gorgeous. I love how you focused your colors on her eyes and hair. Your placement of the leaves around her is a lovely frame for this beautiful portrait. The sentiment is perfect. Amazing card.
