My daughter needs to send out 45+ thank you's for her graduation. Thankfully, I have at least over 30 ready to go. Still need to make some more, though. So, I was on the hunt for inspiration. So, I went through all of the challenges and was able to combine quite a few! For the Inspiration challenge I found this fun photo: https://www.thecrownprints.com/colle...s/pink-vw-love
So, then I knew I had some pink to work with for Angie's initiation into the Free For All challenge.
It's a bit of a stretch for the sketch challenge, but, that was definitely my inspiration for my layout.
For my BG I used re-inkers and a watercolor palette tray. I felt like Crumb Cake had too much green in it, so I mixed in some Close to Cocoa for my sand. I also had some leftover Wink of Stella in one of the wells, so I mixed that in, too. It gave it a pretty shine. The sky is Balmy blue. I will say it is best to have lighter colors. I made a second one of these and the colors were much darker and I didn't like it as well.
We had cupcakes at her party and one of my friends requested the recipe, so I thought this would be fun to send to her. Plus, my second daughter is on vacation with a friend (again!) and thought this would work for the family that took her, too.

45, wow!!! We still have to send out thank yous and I need to look through my cards for thank you notes. We don't have 45 to send out though! It's been a whirlwind of activity here since graduation so we are behind. Your card is simply stunning! I LOVE the colors!
