It's time for a new Color Challenge and I am bringing you A Balmy Night with a Twist! Dessert option is to make an ocean scene or a masculine card, or combine the two if you like! For my card I chose to create an ocean scene.
The ink blended background was stamped with the sentiment and sailboat, die cut, then cloud dies and the lovely mermaid were adhered. The entire panel was added to the card base inside the navy frames. I intended to add some sparkle to the mermaid tail but forgot in my rush to catch the right light to photo my card.

This is absolutely GORGEOUS Stef!!! I love the way the water and the sky blend ever so subtly. I think you must have a touch of the twist with the balmy blue. Your mermaid is colored so well also, but it is that sky and water that really caught my attention. Magnificent!! :>)

Well, my eye caught Kim’s gorgeous descriptive, so I’ll say...an awesome balance of your CC. I really like the asymmetrical clouds and the depth of field you achieved.
I appreciate your listing the Copics. I have way more Copics than Copic talent, but a girl can dream, right!
Into my favs, Stef.

Fabulous! Your-mermaid’s green fins just pop against the watery background you’ve created.

Love every last detail on this, Stef! It's great how that little sailboat is the perfect size in relation to the mermaid peering at it from a distance.

Wow, Stef! What an amazing scene. I want to dive right in! The coloring on your mermaid is so artistic; such dimension with the Copics! Love the background and the entire layout!
