The background is my failed attempt at making my own graphite paper for Lydia's recent tutorial...but I didn't want it to go wo waste. I buffed over the daisies and leaves with some rub-ns and added my lotus blossom. and a sentiment. Matted on dark green card to match the daisy leaves, and then a black base.

Glad you saved that background....it's super cool. i hope to get at this eventually, doing a bunch of traveling in the next 10 days. And your focal flower is beautiful. this looks like something i'd enjoy.

Great save on your reject bg - The intricate backdrop actually helps accentuate the simplicity of your etched lotus blossom really propelling it to the spotlight.
