Jeanne's MIX was to add a wonky element to our mixed media creation. I skewed the lattice, before adding the piece that was left from the centre of my TLC sample for floating die-cut frames (sample and link to challenge HERE.
I had trouble finding it on my desk, I forgot that it was still flat without any foam added. I used a gel print in greens and gold, stuck the lattice on and then added foam to my centre piece and stuck it on. After seeing Jean's cute snail card yesterday I wanted to give these dies a whirl, so I cut the body from kraft and shaded it a little with pink and purple pencils. The shell was cut from a piece of Yupo with alcohol inks, and I used a silver pen to trace the swirls through the die, and also to add dots and lines under the sentiment.

Sabrina, this is just amazing! It took me a minute to see these wonderful bright flowers are from your floating die technique. I love how these flowers look on this wonky trellis. Your background is really gorgeous and makes a wonderful garden setting, but it is this fun snail that makes me smile that pulls this all together so beautifully. ~Karen.
