Julie, picked a super fun inspiration site today. I promise I did not not at her card before I did mine! We used the same Pig and kite image. She made hers shine with a cool embossing folder and her wonderful coloring. I did my normal lazy creating: dipped a paper in some inky water, dried it, stamped by beach, sponged on some brown, used a few markers, etc. I fussy cut leonard and popped him up. Added some fun sunglasses and part of the same sentiment Julie used.

That is such a cool pig in those sunglasses, Nancy. How fun that you and Julie have a kite flying pig. Sometimes, we crafters do think alike. Wonderful background and scene for your Leonard.

YOur card is not in the least like Julie's.........I love the way you added the scene and made the kite so far away..........like the person you're missing.

Isn't it amazing when we choose the same things or create something in the same way and we didn't see the other person's work first? That has happened to me a lot lately! This is an adorable image. I see why both you and Julie chose it! I love the watercolor bg and the beach scene!

Great scene for Leonard styling in those sunglasses! It is so awesome how we can take the same stamp set and create a whole different look and feeling! Super card!

I wouldn't call this lazy creating Nancy! I LOVE the colors on your background and how you created the landscape with a few simple strokes of a black marker (!!) - and the way the kite is SO FAR away - you can tell its up high in the sky - and the pig is just stepping off the panel - so cute with his shades on!
