I chose the option to use the negative from a die cut. I'd used the positive heart for another project and this piece was sitting in my UFO box so Carla's challenge was the perfect opportunity to use it.
I also used a negative version of stenciling - I sprinkled red Bister on a stencil of little hearts, spritzed with water, and flipped it over onto a piece of mixed media cs and got the negative print (or a "stencil monoprint").
I took the negative heart die cut and used it to frame a section of my negative heart print. I added a few red glitter die cut hearts (left over from yet a different project), stamped my sentiment, and popped the panel up on fun foam.

The abstract feel of the heart negative is perfect for the bg! Great use of leftovers and the negative image and technique. Thanks for playing in my challenge and treating us to your card.
