This cute image and kit was sent to me by a dear friend, Joyce, as part of the Flybaby Card Dare challenge.
I used 5 items out of the kit....the CS, patterned paper, stamped image...another cutie, and both sentiments. I made this card for my hubby...he may not have to wait until Valentines Day to receive it.
I decided to cut out a stitched die out of the patterned paper but ending up just using the negative space which I then cut using my rectangle stitched die.
After colouring the cute bee girl and using way too much orange than a bee may have, I decided to fussy cut her....my cutting leaves a lot to be desired so I tried sponging around her....it’s times like this you wish you had the coordinating die cut.
Sparkle was added.....my hubby knows I like sparkle plus I do have freckles lol. I added die 3 tiny die cuts in copper that I had in my stash.
This card is also going into 2 more challenges:
Ways to Use It....adding a ?
Alpha challenge.....L = Love
Thank you Joyce for this cute kit...love it.
TFL. Happy day

Awwww...this is just as sweet and charming as can be! I love the wonderful papers you used for your card base and background, then how you made this little girl so bright and sparkly. I just adore the look on her face and how happy she is. This bee-theme sentiment is truly adorable here too. ~Karen.
