This week, the Teapotters are showing off the non-pet animals they love. I'm in camp Koala. I mean, how cute are they? I've loved them since I was a kid. (My actual collection of koala items is pretty small -- a couple of stuffed ones, a framed pencil drawing, a figurine. I remember having a shirt -- not a t-shirt but a long-sleeved button-down shirt with a koala print fabric -- when I was a teenager. ) This stamp is only the second koala stamp I own.
For the background, I used scraps from an old mat pack to create a herringbone pattern.

I love the bg you made for that loveable koala. I think you need to add to your collection! (You could start with more stamps!)

Cute koala and a totally fab herringbone background. You've just reminded me that I used to have a koala that clipped onto things, I wonder what on earth happened to it.

Awww, this little guy is so darned cute! I can almost hear him saying "hello" with a wonderful Aussie accent. Fun! Your herringbone background is gorgeous and works perfectly with your koala bear. What a fun challenge this is Sandy! ~Karen.

You put a lot of effort into this card, how beautifully done it is too!! I love your quilt design and then the circle of the Koala bear - which is just as sweet and cute as can be!!
