It's the last Tuesday of the month and that means it's Teapot Tickle time! You guys, I know that this gallery is going to be full of really cute little critters, but what do I collect? Fish. I love all fish, but most of all I love the largemouth bass. This is one of the first stamps I ever bought. I bought it even before I took up stamping. I just liked it so much. But I rarely use it. So I couldn't resist using it today. And, boy, am I going to be sad to see this card go. I had a lot fun making it. I started with smooshing DOX inks onto the blue paper and then stenciling some bubbles and spraying and splattering Mica Mist. Then I stamped the fish on some green paper and embossed. I sponged DOX ink onto the fish to color it. Then I added some white gel pen highlights. Finished with some torn black paper so it wouldn't blend into the background and my favorite "Keep It Reel" sentiment. And a bit of silver cord for a fishing line feel to it.

Oh my! What a lovely card and wonderful punny sentiment! Your background is gorgeous and looks perfect with the image. Beautifully coloured bass - I have this image and love it too. ...and again it is one I seldom use. Going to have to change that after seeing your great card!

This is just such a surprise........fish? Bass? But why should I be surprised by the mother of boys? I'll bet they are like you, into fishing (do you fish?). this card is a beauty, the bass looks so REEL. You can always ask Sabrina to have you send it to yourself!!!

Awesome card Jenn, and yes, a large-mouth bass is not what I was expecting. The background is fab and love the sentiment.
My husband is a flyfisher so we have a bunch of fish stuff around, but for the fly guys, it's mostly about trout, not bass.

How fun to have used I've of your very first stamp purchases. What an unexpected choice, but a great addition to the gallery and a super splashy watery background.
