The CAS challenge this week was given by Misti (Scraperwannabe) to Go Outside. Well, I certainly did that Sunday afternoon...all the way to my favorite St Vinnies. And I happened upon loose stamps I rummaged through. My gnome and three quirky sentiments had to come home with me. I don't know the name of the set, but it was from 2005.
That quip is one of those funny but true sayings. I don't happen to have any gnomes in my garden, but I certainly do have a growing crop of weeds. One of my other passions is my garden. So I am continually at war between dueling passions.
I am especially thankful for the sacrifice of all the unnamed men and women who served and died protecting the freedoms of our country and other countries world wide. I pray that peace would prevail.
Thanks for stopping by.

St. Vinnies, huh? I'm not sure where or if we have one of those stores. Super nice find though. Love that sentiment. I love yard art. Love your cluster of neat stuff.

I am done with weeding. After five hand surgeries, not a good idea for me to do it. I love that saying........must use it sometime!! thanks for the giggle, and for the serious moment in expressing thanks to those who have served for us!

This is such a fun card! I now believe that I will never be done weeding! Had poison ivy last week everywhere! Went out to that Quince bush again covered from head to toe and spent another hour pulling out poison ivy ! Part of me was ready to dig up the Quince bush but I love the coral blossoms in the Spring. And that was my husband’s favorite bush as his mother had it in Vt. So I will continue to weed.....
